Crossroads
Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia
Dawn Schuette as Senior Consultant for Kirkegaard Associates

Built to bring together previously scattered departments for dance, theater and music programs at Emory University, the new Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts provides a place for interaction and connection among students of the performance arts.

The Emerson Concert Hall is at the center of the facility and houses a new Jaeckel organ. A Dance Performance Studio, Theatre Lab space, and Instrumental Rehearsal Hall flank the Hall on three sides. The true heart of the facility is the back-of-house where students and faculty mingle.
