Constance Walker, AIA, LEED AP, Senior Consultant
Connie is a longtime Force for Good in the world of project management, architecture, and acoustics, leaving her mark on a string of memorable projects over years that she declines to count. As a project architect in Chicago at Solomon Cordwell Buenz and Teng Associates, she became adept at detailing large institutional and commercial buildings and then defending the details during construction. At Kirkegaard Associates, she turned these skills to the realm of acoustics while herding many cats through their quotidian activities on a series of music and theatre projects of singular quality. In a three-year sojourn with Cotter Consulting, she served as the owner’s representative for the University of Chicago during construction of the Joe and Rika Mansueto Library, designed by Helmut Jahn. She is fluent in the language of design, project management, and construction and is a force to be reckoned with on the jobsite.
