Fine arts studios and gallery spaces are grouped around a 250-seat flexible theater with a strong interior visual presence. Simple materials used in unexpected ways – including precast concrete formulated for acoustic absorption – yield a space that holds its own without upstaging the performers. Variable seating accommodates corner, end, traverse, and in-round theatrical stages; or it can be removed entirely for banquets. Simple, flexible AV systems handle all of these events with technical grace and aesthetic finesse.
