Sydney nogle, graphic design & marketing coordinator

Crayons, markers, and colored pencils were Sydney's childhood toys of choice, pointing her toward the School of the Art Institute of Chicago at the impressively-early age of eleven. Towards the end of high school, after repeatedly hearing that fine art was a hobby and not a career, she tried in vain to find something 'practical' to study in college, but nothing held the same appeal as those markers and pencils. Ultimately, expert parenting yielded an agreement to study photography (Sydney's idea) as long as she also studied graphic design (parents' idea), the latter a field she knew nothing about.

Fortunately for her (and for us), she had more than just a knack for graphic design and graduated at the top of her major from Dominican University. She spent five years as a graphic designer for an experiential marketing agency, honing her design skills while starting her own, very successful, freelance company and learning first-hand about marketing. After the birth of her first child, she joined Threshold in a marketing and graphic design capacity, lending her fine eye and hand to our public presence.
